This policy explains what this website collects, why, and what we do with it. It covers debo.one only — not the DEBO software deployed inside a customer environment, which by design never sends your database contents to us.
What we collect
When you submit a form. The demo-request and contact forms record the name, work email, company, role, area of interest, preferred time and message you enter. We also store the IP address and browser user-agent of the submission, which we use to detect abuse and to rate-limit the endpoint.
When you use the chat. Messages you send to the on-page assistant are stored together with a random session identifier, so we can see which questions people ask and improve the answers. The session identifier lives in your browser's session storage and is discarded when you close the tab. Please do not enter confidential information into the chat.
Analytics. If you accept cookies, Google Tag Manager and Google Analytics record standard usage data such as pages viewed, approximate location, device and referral source. If you decline, these tags stay disabled and no analytics or advertising cookies are set.
Cookies and consent
No analytics or advertising cookies are set before you choose. We use Google Consent Mode with every category defaulting to denied; the banner only enables them if you press Accept. Your choice is remembered in your browser's local storage so we do not ask again.
Clearing your browser storage resets the choice and the banner will appear again.
Why we may use it
To reply to your enquiry and arrange a demo; to keep a record of legitimate business enquiries; to protect the site against automated abuse; and, where you consented, to measure how the site performs and how our advertising is working.
Who we share it with
We do not sell your data and we do not share it for anyone else's marketing. Enquiry details reach our own inbox by email. Where you consented to analytics, usage data is processed by Google. Our hosting and email providers process data on our instructions only.
How long we keep it
Enquiries are kept while there is a live business relationship or a realistic prospect of one, and then removed. Chat logs are kept to improve the assistant. You can ask us to delete either at any time.
Your rights
You can ask for a copy of the personal data we hold about you, ask us to correct it, or ask us to delete it. Where processing relies on your consent, you can withdraw that consent at any time. Write to [email protected] and we will respond.
Security
The site is served over HTTPS. Enquiry data is stored in our own database, access to which is restricted to the people who need it.
Changes
If this policy changes we will update the date above.
